Then I have two DVI cables from the console DVI ports to my monitors. I have connected the DVI output from the Nvidia card to the first DVI port for system A on the SC740, and the VGA output to the second DVI port for system A (with a DVI to VGA adapter obviously). If I cable them directly to my monitors, both work fine and I can have different windows displayed on each of them. The card has one DVI output and one VGA output. The system is an HP PC running Windows Vista with an Nvidia GEforce graphics card. The main issue I'm having is that I can't get my second monitor to work through it. I would love to know how the hotkeys work and what sort of settings might be available there.

All I could find was a PDF of the little two-page quick start card that came in the box, which is pretty useless.
#Avocent viewer plugin firefox manual
A manual would be real helpful but I can't seem to find one on the Avocent/Emerson website. I recently picked up an SC 740 that I'm trying to figure out. I'm hoping someone else has seen this problem and knows of a fix. I have a support ticket open with Avocent, but talking to them on the phone they say they've never heard of this problem before. I don't think that is the issue, but I mention it just in case. One other thing DSView 4's documentation says it supports ESX 4.x, but I am on ESXi 5.0. It happens to me all the time, so it isn't just a stupid user trick. About 10% of the time, it works with no hang. This happens about 90% of the time whenever a user launches the VMware viewer after having shut down IE or having rebooted their laptops. But if the user closes the viewer window and clicks on the VMware viewer link again, the viewer comes up without any problems. The viewer window also locks up and after about two minutes displays a red 'Connection Failed' message. Using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 32-bit version, the first time a user logs into DSView and opens a guest using VMware viewer, IE locks up for about two minutes. I had hoped the upgrade would correct a common problem my users have with the Virtualization Viewer when connecting to a VMware guest, but the same problem occurs under both versions. I have DSView 3 and am in the process of upgrading to DSView 4.
